Just like the person that created the cow, I like to have a big glass of frothy milk every now and again. Sometimes I play gawd and add Hershey's chocolate into the mix. On this particular occasion I dropped my pseudo-engineered chocolate milk on my carpet. The whole damned cup (we're talking a movie sized big cup here)! I sopped it up with a few towels. I didn't use stain remover until later the next night. It stunk to high hell. This illo is what I imagined the stain had mutated into over night. It had to be put down.

Go, Cat, Glow!!!
I've been wanting to draw a glow-in-the-dark cat ever since I read that South Korean scientists genetically engineered a little brite-lite kitty. They're so much more interesting than those fluorescent pigs. Plus, if I'm ever around one at night I can catch the lil bastard in the act when it inevitably takes a crap in my shoes.Medium: Line Drawings Scanned, With Color Added In Adobe Photoshop

Random Crap...About Me
This piece of random crap may be the most disgusting thing I've ever drawn. I'll let you be the judge. But while you ponder that, I figured I'd participate in a 5 Random Things Meme that was sent to me via the ever-talented and lovely Angelato (AKA Angela Matteson). And if I remember correctly, Willie Baronet tagged me ages ago. Sorry Willie. Better later than never?

1. I'm a pop culture fiend. Ask me anything pop culture related, I'll more than likely have the answer.
2. Halloween is my favorite holiday. I wish Halloween happened at least 4 times a year. I'm serious, we don't have enough holidays in America as it is. And most of the ones we do have are boring or just consist of everyone eating food. Anywho, I went as Owen Wilson for Halloween this year.
3. I'm fascinated by the paranormal. I grew up listening to my Grandma Hattie's ghost stories. I devoutly watch Ghost Hunters every week. And thanks to my good friend Justin, I recently went on my first "ghost investigation" in a historical house in Covington, Kentucky.
4. I love buying/wearing t-shirts. Especially humorous ones.

5. Despite popular belief, Taylor from Kid Nation is NOT my daughter. Yes, she resembles me when I was 11 or so, but I was never that snotty...or Southern.
I'm supposed to "tag" someone else, but seeing as I'm already late to the party, everyone's already done this.

Ghosts With The Most
After perusing the web over the Halloween season I came across a lot of "Greatest Ghosts" lists. But I felt they were all incomplete. So to rectify the situation...I present to you an assembly of the Top Pop Culture Ghosts.
(Please feel free to comment and let me know if I missed any!!)

Forgive me Large Marge!
I inadvertently left you off of the list.
I'll never forget you again...

And I'll "be sure to tell 'em Large Marge sent [me]!"

The Britney Spears Project That Never Was
These are character sketches I did for a Britney Spears piece that never saw the light of day (until now). I didn't feel the original idea was that strong so I stopped at doing rough Return Of The Jedi studies. Here they are:
There's good news though! I'm getting back into the art swing! I plan to do a sketch crawl once a week with the very talented and all around super artist Eric Smith (AKA EMS).

Ancients Of The Sketch-Book
I won't go into great detail, but I haven't liked the stuff that's been lurking in my present sketch-book. A friend suggested that I up some of my past sketch-book stuff. So I have. It's rather old...but it's still better than the rancid drawings that inhabit my current sketch-book. I hope you like.
I'm gonna work on finishing some quality Halloween stuff. I just need some inspiration to get me started.

A Little Guy In His Head; But Can He Hit A Change-Up?
Seasons change, even sports seasons. So before I devote all of my future weekends to watching as much NFL & NCAA football as possible, I want to reflect back on the 2006 baseball season. Specifically on one of my favorite players, Ryan Freel of the Cincinnati Reds. He nearly kills himself with each catch, he's a spectacular talent, even if he talks to the little person in his head. That's right, Mr. Freel claims "the midget in my head is named Farney. 'Hey Farney, I don't know if that was you that caught that ball, but it was pretty good if it was you.'" Recently Freel has said that Farney "was never real." But some of his teammates claim that Freel still talks to himself when he's at his locker. Maybe Freel's in denial...or maybe he's nuts. Hey, whatever it takes to get an out I guess.
After pondering this interesting story I started to think of one of my favorite cartoons of the moment, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, on Cartoon Network.
I think Freel would feel right at home there. He would get to talk to Farney all day long, and maybe play some pick-up wiffle-ball with the rest of the imaginary residents. I tend to enjoy superstitions when it comes to sports, so I won't try and explain away Farney, but I have my suspicions as to why the Reds most likely won't make the playoffs. And not one of those reasons includes Farney.

RIP: Steve Irwin

Click The Pic For Steve At His Best
"I never pictured a croc killing him, but I never pictured a stingray doing it, either," says Jack Hanna, director emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Ohio. "It's like me getting killed by a poodle."Cheers for all the years of insanely fueled & energized inspiration. You'll be missed, mate.
